Religion is not a unifying thing. Too many people are willing to die and kill each other to protect a group’s religious ideals. Religion creates factions, which bring some together; but not all. We need to all be together, now more than ever.
Love. That’s it. That’s the only to way unify everyone and make living here better. Let go of your hate, and your fear. Love everyone. Love has to be how you start, how you end, and how you live everyday.

This is probably the most stupid thing I’m likely to see today. Get over religion. It’s been here longer than you and me. It’s more important to the world than you and me. It means more to a lot of people.
In its best forms, it’s about love and more. In its worst forms, it does lead to violence and death. So, the way I see it, religion is like any other important idea in the history of the world. You know what’s not an important idea? “All you need is love.” Because, clearly, that is not the case.

While this is a valid point I must also bring up the point that everything is relative. Religion is only an important idea if you believe it is. Coming from my background, I’ve been around a destructive religion therefore making my opinion of it quite jaded so in this case—love is a better option for me to put my faith in because religion as I know it to be does not involve love.
