Dealing with a thunderstorm
Background information: For the past 11 years, I’ve lived in what you could call “Tornado Alley” so when thunderstorms hit…I automatically assume the position of tornado preparation. For the past ..I don’t know..a billion years..the boyfriend has lived in LA…aka not “Tornado Alley.”
At about 2am this morning, mother nature was doing something fierce and I was incredibly terrified. I kept waiting to hear tornando sirens or I was expecting some glass to break. What does dear old boyfriend do? While he does cuddle me to try to make me feel safer…he also gets REALLY excited about thunder and lightening because apparently LA doesn’t have thunderstorms. He gets so excited that he STANDS NEXT TO THE WINDOW TO WATCH..and the entire time I’m thinking..”oh god..glass is going to explode.”
We have a great group dynamic.
